The Tsinghua Medicine International Medical Practice (Elective) Program is co-managed by the TM Education  Office and the TM Integrated Administration Office, performed by three affiliated hospitals. It involves seven professional direction course leaders and dozens of teaching physicians. The program aims to:provide international medical students with insights into China’s healthcare system, medical education, healthcare environment, and clinical ethics; Enhance their understanding of Chinese culture and improve their proficiency in the Chinese language; develop clinical thinking and skills, and expose them to relatively rare medical cases; engage in research, data analysis, and service improvement projects; foster friendships between medical students and doctors, creating opportunities for future exchanges; promote the internationalization of medical education, strengthen global health capabilities, and facilitate the mutual integration of medical education across different contexts, encouraging collaborative learning.
