On March 11, 2024, Tsinghua University’s first “International Medical Practice Program” was launched at Beijing Tsinghua Changgung Hospital. Fang Liu, the Program Director, Director of the Education Office of  School of Clinical Medical,Tsinghua University, and the Director of the Education Department of Beijing Tsinghua Changgung Hospital, along with Chunmei Song, the Vice Director of the Education Department and the person in charge of the Party Committee’s Research Work Group, and Zhimin Sim from the TM Comprehensive Administrative Office, welcomed the first batch of 10 students from the National University of Singapore.

    Fang  Liu extended a warm welcome to everyone and introduced the students to various aspects of the hospital, including its profile and development, teaching organization and management system, and the direction and characteristics of its disciplines. She stated that as the main teaching hospital for clinical medicine at Tsinghua University, Beijing Tsinghua Changgung Hospital has abundant teaching resources and an excellent faculty team, allowing students to immerse themselves in various clinical scenarios, develop clinical practice skills, and understand the latest developments in Tsinghua’s clinical medicine.                

   The program has received high attention from hospital leaders and strong support from clinical experts. The first batch of students studied in various disciplines according to their professional directions, including Hepatobiliary Surgery, Cardiology, Neurology, Otorhinolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, and Urology, under the guidance of several teachers.
