(By  Yan Zhang )On January 24, 2019, the signing of the "the Responsibility Letter of Medical and Health Security Work of Beijing 2022 Winter Olympic and Winter Paralympic Games”and” the Responsibility Letter of Medical/Health-Related Security Work of Public Competent Organization of Host City" and the awarding ceremony of the designated hospital were held in the multi-function hall on the first floor of the conference building of the Beijing Organizing Committee for the Winter Olympic Games and Winter Paralympic Games.

　　15 relevant functional departments of public competent governments of the host cities in Bejing and Hebei(7 in Beijing and 8 in Hebei Province) became responsible for Winter Olympic medical/health services. 41 hospitals and emergency centres in Beijing and Hebei Province (25 hospitals and 2 emergency centres in Beijing, 13 hospitals and 1 emergency centre in Hebei) became designated hospitals for the Beijing 2022 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games, with the Beijing Tsinghua Chang Gung Hospital as one of the designated hospitals. And 7 public health institutions in Beijing and Hebei Province (3 in Beijing and 4 in Hebei) became designated public health institutions for the Beijing 2022 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games.

　　The leaders attended and witnessed the meeting where the responsibility agreement was signed, including Jiandong Zhang, Deputy Mayor of Beijing and Executive Vice Chairman of the Beijing Organising Committee for the 2022 Olympic Winter Games(BOCOWG), Zirong Han, Secretary General of the BOCOWG, Zhijun Xu, Deputy Secretary General of the BOCOWG, Guoping Li, Consultant of the Medical and Scientific Commission of the International Olympic Committee (IOC), Zhengmao Li of the National Health Commission (NHC), and Long Bai, Deputy Director of the Office of the Winter Olympics in Hebei Province. 140 participants from the central and state departments, Beijing Organizing Committee for the Winter Olympic Games, Beijing and Hebei provincial departments, and responsible comrades from the designated hospitals of the Winter Olympics attend the meeting. Debin Yu, Minister of Games Service Department of BOCOWG, signed a responsibility letter with the host city's public authorities, the Winter Olympic medical/health-related government and relevant functional departments; and signed a three-party responsibility letter with the Winter Olympic medical security designated hospitals and public health institutions. Zirong Han, Secretary-General of the BOCOWG, presided over the signing of the responsibility letter and the awarding ceremony.

　　As the designated hospital of medical security for the Winter Olympic Games, Beijing Tsinghua Changgung hospital will fully prepare for the Winter Olympic Medical Security in accordance with the requirements of accessing, planning and practicing in advance of BOCOWG .. According to the characteristics of the Winter Olympic injuries, the hospital selected good medical and nursing staff with fluent foreign language speaking for public health and blood supply. Making full preparations, preventing and controlling the infectious disease, insuring the safety of drinking water, food and other risks monitoring before and during the race. responding actively to deepen the medical assistance to Yanqing District and Zhangjiakou City on the medicine to realize the co- construction and sharing of medical services . （ Reviewer  Yunshuo Li ）
